This website is dedicated to providing information about our bicycles and repair services. Please read the following General Terms and Conditions carefully before exploring the site.

This website serves as a platform for information and contact purposes only. As of now, purchases cannot be made directly through the website. If you are interested in acquiring a bike or utilizing our repair services, Steel is Real invites you to get in touch with us through the contact form available on the website.

To express your interest, simply fill out the contact form, and Steel is Real will promptly respond with all the necessary details. This ensures a personalized and smooth experience tailored to your specific needs.

2. Delivery & Payment

All prices shown and given are in Euros and include VAT. Goods are delivered by Steel is Real upon payment only.

3. Transport Damages

Steel is Real is not liable for any kind of transport damages. Any damages during the transport shall be addressed to the delivery company.

4. Right of Return for Long Distance Sales Contracts

The party to the contract has the right to revoke and return the goods within a period of fourteen days from the date of delivery. No reason shall be given for the return. Dispatch of the goods within the mentioned period is sufficient for the purpose of return. The party to the contract shall contact Steel is Real and return the goods at their own cost.

Steel is Real refunds payments already made within ten days from receipt of returned goods. May any deterioration have occurred to the goods, the party to the contract shall pay compensation for the diminished value, such as in case that goods cannot be longer sold as “new” or are damaged.

The right of return does not apply to goods which are manufactured specifically to fulfill particular customer’s wishes and / or are customized to customer’s specifications.

5. Reservation of ownership

The goods forming the subject of the contract remain property of Steel is Real until they have been fully paid.

6. Warranty & Guarantee

At Steel is Real, we want you to be absolutely happy with your new bicycle! If you encounter an issue with your bike, please take a moment to read the information below to determine whether your problem falls under the warranty.

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty includes both material defects and manufacturing defects during normal use of the bicycle.

How will we address issues?
Steel is Real will repair the bike free of charge using new or refurbished replacement parts.

How long is the coverage?
The warranty period for bicycles is 2 months from the date of purchase.

What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover any problems caused by circumstances, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. Theft or loss of a bicycle is not covered.

What should you do?
To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to discuss the issue and determine the most suitable solution for you.

7. Liability

May any damage occur through the use of the goods, especially through improper use, Steel is Real is not in any case liable for those damages, unless in case of negligence. The negligence evidence shall be produce by the customer.

8. Data protection

In order to complete orders, Steel is Real will save the party to the contract’s personal details and, where necessary, pass these on to third parties for this purpose. All personal data is treated in confidence.

9. Concluding Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions are subject to the provisions of Belgian law. In the event of a dispute concerning these General Terms and Conditions, only Belgian courts in Hasselt have jurisdiction.
